Listen Memorize Live the Quran
Memorize the Quran, one ayah at a time.
HifzEcho plays each ayah, repeats it, then leaves a quiet pause so you can recite it back. Pick a passage, press start, and practise every day.
How it works
Built around the way hifz is really done.
Listen, repeat, recite. The same loop students use with a teacher, ready whenever you have ten minutes.
Pick a passage
Choose any surah and up to 50 ayahs. Short surahs can be added whole with one tap.
Listen and repeat
Each ayah plays up to 10 times, with a silent pause after every repeat for you to recite it.
Recite from memory
Review mode hides the text. Recite, reveal to check, and mark the passage when you have it.
Features
Everything you need. Nothing in the way.
The full Quran, offline
Complete Hafs text in Uthmani script from the Tanzil Project, checked and never altered.
Two trusted reciters
Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary and Mishary Rashid Alafasy, ayah by ayah.
Recall pauses
Set up to 30 seconds of silence after each repeat so you can say it back.
Hide the text
Practise from memory and reveal the ayahs only when you need a hint.
Daily routines
Save a passage and let it start by itself at the time and days you choose.

Private by design
Your routines and progress stay on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.
No account. No ads. No tracking.
HifzEcho doesn’t ask who you are and doesn’t collect your data. What you practise and memorise is between you and your phone.
Questions
Frequently asked
Is HifzEcho really free?
Yes. There are no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
Do I need an internet connection?
Reading the Quran works fully offline. Recitation audio streams from Islamic Network, so playback needs Wi-Fi or mobile data.
Which riwayah and script does it use?
Hafs ʿan ʿĀṣim in Uthmani script, from the Tanzil Project. The text is bundled exactly as published and checked against a fixed checksum on every build.
Does it check my recitation?
No. HifzEcho never listens to you and doesn’t use the microphone. It gives you the structure to practise, and you mark your own progress. A teacher is still the best judge of tajweed.
Can I use it on iPhone?
HifzEcho is Android only for now. Leave your email with us if you’d like to hear about an iPhone version.
How do I play it on my Google Nest?
Keep your phone and speaker on the same Wi-Fi, then tap the cast icon in the app and pick your speaker. The support page has a step-by-step guide.
